Vintage Southwestern Handmade Sterling Silver Large Rectangular Bird Earrings

These vintage Sterling silver earrings made in the southwest or Mexico are very unusual. I love the way the tall, vertical rectangle shape of the earring is split into two vertical sections. The image of the bird is carved to connect both rectangles together with a flag like shape at the top. These do have some significant age related tarnish. I could probably remove it by putting the earrings in a silver cleaning dip. I will do that at your request if you purchase them and would like that.
These are signed on the back, but it’s difficult to make out the letters. There’s also a Hallmark shaped sort of like an undulating sun.
These earrings measured 1 1/2 inches in length .
