Pictures can't do this beauty justice. Joan Helpern was a reknowned women's shoe hero, ""Joan wanted a shoe that was not a gym shoe, loafer, or stiletto, the only readily available styles for women at the time. She needed a shoe that would look stylish yet allow her to get about the city in comfort." She briefly took her eye for style and need for quality and comfort into the outerwear arena for a time before refocussing on footwear. The results were spectacular.
This gorgeous 50% mohair, 20% alpaca and 30% lambswool teddy coat is often replicated but could never be duplicated. This coat is handcrafted in Italy and is in outstanding Vintage condition. There is one flaw in the liner, in pictures, that in no way affects the wear or appearance of this beautful coat.
The adjustable belt adds some versatility to the styling that can be worn.
