Vintage brooch and screw on earring set done with prone set, light blue marquise rhinestones and round clear rhinestones. Incredible presentation of the stones that draw attention to the filigree clovers. Mounted and set in sterling silver. Signed by artisan and stamped Sterling. For new collectors, I am including a brief summary about the Carl Art (CA) company. His early pieces are signed CA with an arrow.
The Carl Art company, was an American jewerly manufacturer, founded in 1936 by German immigrant Carl Schraysshuen and American businessman Arthur Loercher in Providence, Rhode Island. They sold gold, silver and gold-filled pieces. In 1981 Carl Art merged with Vargas Manufacturing, and became part of the Uncas Company in 1996.
