Vintage glass store counter jar made by Owens-Illinois Glass Company in 1940 (marked with the Diamond O-I logo and date code on the base). These jars were widely used in general stores, candy shops, and groceries to display bulk goods such as cookies, candy, nuts, or tobacco.

• Material: Clear glass with original metal screw-on lid.
