The SanDisk SDPHH2H-036T-NBAAD is a desktop RAID system that gives creative professionals 36TB of reliable, high-speed storage without complicating their workflow. Inside the enclosure you will find two Ultrastar enterprise drives that each hold 18TB and spin at 7200 rpm. Out of the box the array ships in RAID 1, so every file you copy is mirrored automatically, creating a live backup that protects current projects as well as archived material.
If you reach a point where performance and raw capacity matter more than redundancy, a small rear switch lets you jump to RAID 0. In that mode the full 36TB appears as a single volume and transfer rates rise to roughly 510 MB/s, ideal for stream-heavy tasks such as multi-camera 4K editing or large-format photo libraries.
Two Thunderbolt 3 ports deliver 40 Gb/s throughput and allow daisy-chaining of up to five additional devices, so you can keep your display, media reader, and storage on one clean cable run. The array also includes a dedicated slot for a PRO-BLADE SSD Mag. Insert a Mag and you can offload field footage or even edit directly from the SSD at speeds that approach 1000 MB/s, all without extra cables cluttering the desk.
