Angelo Mangiarotti, a great Italian designer of the 1970s, designs “Bibulo”, a crystal collection from Colle di Val d’Elsa composed of decanter, water pitcher, glasses, in order of size for liqueur, sweet wine, water, wine from table, flute and gran cru accompanied by the Salt and Pepper. He is inspired by the female form: the pregnant belly of the decanter, the feet and glutes of the glass service, the husband with a cap for a hat and two haughty little children, Sale and Pepe. A gentle humor that refers to Munari’s thought and to his simple poetry. It seems to say: “… let’s not take ourselves too seriously! It’s just a table set ..”
