This piece is absolutely stunning, a one of a kind and is hand crafted, hand painted in 1975 by a collaboration between late potter Brodsky and painter Davila. Brodsky had been making pottery since the 1960’s and has a BFA from the College of Arts in California. Brodsky and Davila opened Rabbit pottery and artworks in New Mexico 1974 and produced some beautiful pieces. I have been unable to find another piece like this one, not even a piece coming close to it. It is beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. Being almost 50 years old it does have some hairline cracks around the scalloped area as well as a chip on the underside, please view pics carefully as they are part of the description. These imperfections do not take away from the beauty of this piece and this is a perfect addition for a Brodsky pottery collector or any pottery collector. Who doesn’t like a unique piece that no one else may have.
