A large and exquisite masterpiece for which this is the only one I have seen available.
Japanese porcelain charger with a fluted body and adorned with a central blue medallion and surrounded by lush paisley cartouches featuring flowers, branches in a calming and peaceful deep cobalt blue background. The color palette is bold and extremely elegant.
Overall decorated in the Kinrande Imari style, using underglaze blue and overglaze red, with gilt highlights. Elements of the Kakiemon style are also displayed with the use of more subtle overglaze famille verte enamels. The back features four bold orange medallions and authentic mark. Includes the wood stand.
Measures 16” Diameter
Excellent display piece, the quality is exceptional for the age and to be enjoyed for many generations.
