This vintage sleeveless black midi dress is by French luxury clothing designer Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche from the Fall Winter 2001 Collection with Tom Ford. This dress is French size 44 or US size 12. This dress has never been worn, but the tags have been removed.
The dress I have is longer than the one in the first photo. This dress is softly structured with a ruffled mock neck, intricate gathering and ruffles throughout, and pockets at the hips. There are dozens of hook and eye closures running the entire length of the dress, that can be left open for as high as you would like. It has a sophisticated Wednesday Addams thing going on. The material is a dense cotton twill blend with 3% spandex. Plenty of stretch in the bodice and hips, not much in the waist.
