"One of the most popular Camellias of all time and probably the best of the white fall-flowering varieties, 'Mine No Yuki' puts on a truly spectacular show in the fall and early winter when it explodes with LOADS of slightly fragrant, large double flowers with pure white petals that surround a boss of bright yellow stamens. The flowers stand out remarkably against the background of very dark green foliage. Excellent as a specimen or natural hedge.
Landscape & Garden Uses: Growing 6 to 8 feet tall and 6 to 8 feet wide (depending on pruning), the Mine No Yuki Camellia can be grown as a shrub or small tree. As a shrub it is ideal for use as a specimen, in groupings, or as a hedge or background plant in partially shaded landscape borders and is especially nice as a corner plant or espalier (trained to grow flat against a wall) in home foundation plantings.
