MCM Richard Galef brass end table

This Perforated Modern End Table was designed by Richard Galef, if was made during the 1960s at the height of the "Atomic Age" Period when all eyes were on the future and the influence of the "space race". Originally most likely, a telephone and "Yellow Pages Book" holder, it remains useful for any number of purposes today. It could function as a generic end table, especially useful in small apartments, it also works well as an album holder, night stand, plant stand or book rack, etc.

It is constructed exclusively of perforated metal mesh. It is in excellent structural condition (some light scratches and rust) fully ready to serve, as is, or with such "TLC" as you desire to apply. It measures 21.5" tall x 6.5" wide, 9" deep. It is an excellent period piece without any non-essential decoration.
