A texturing brush, the Rake has a naturally fingered shape created by staggered lengths of filaments. Use on the tips with slightly thinned paint and light pressure to make brush stroke marks much like those a comb or rake might leave. Flick away or pull strokes for hair, grasses, wood grain, cross-hatching, feathers, fur and other textures.
Hand shaped from a triple diameter mix synthetic of dyed, absorbent, taklon filament these brush heads offer exceptional snap and spring for superb control in the hand.
Versatile for all fine art and craft media including acrylic, oil, watercolor, gouache and inks on smooth to lightly textured surfaces including canvas, wood, metal, ceramics, fabric, paper mache and more.
Ergonomic hourglass-shaped comfort handle is easy to hold, helps hand fatigue and offers increased control. Brush heads are held securely in seamless, silver nickel-plated ferrules with hardwood handle with a smooth two-tone enamel painted finish.
