Cleaned and lubed so now views are sparkling! As is typical of German optics from this era, the vinyl covering on the chassis is chipped in places. So we painted the remainder with an oil based enamel to prevent further deterioration and coated the exposed metal areas using a Truck Bed Liner granular paint. Feels great! No case.
