Gluvit, Epoxy Waterproof Sealer protects your boat. Gluvit seals and protects planks and sheeting on wooden hulls against water absorption and damage from marine parasites. Aluminum hulls gain protection as Gluvit seals seams & rivets and acts as a barrier coat to minimize galvanic corrosion. Gluvit provides abrasion resistance and protects hull sides and bottoms from damage by grounding on beaches or rocks on your jet ski, rowboat and canoe.
- For maximum ultraviolet protection, must be painted after cure
- 2 lb. unit covers 25-35 square feet when applied at 6-8 mils
- 8 lb. unit covers 100-130 square feet when applied at 6-8 mils
Notes:
- Your Gluvit kit will arrive in two parts - one bottle of catalyst and a can with enough room in it to allow mixing the two parts together. (The can will appear half empty and this is normal.)
- For maximum ultraviolet protection, Gluvit must be painted after full cure. Gluvit can be overcoated with any marine paint or other coating compatible with epoxies. Check with your paint supplier and make sure the coating you are using is epoxy friendly and suitable for your application
