French Military Surplus
A square mess kit used by the French military from the 1950s.
It consists of a 3-piece set: a large pan with a handle, a small pan, and a deep dish. All pieces can be stacked and stored within the large pan, and cutlery can also be stored inside.
Although the exact date isn't specified, it's believed to be from the 1950s, manufactured by M.M. The bear emblem has been used since the 1930s.
This is not a deadstock item, so there are minor scratches and dirt, but there are no issues with opening, closing, or moving parts, and there are no burn marks.
Considering the age, the condition is relatively good, as M-52 mess kits often have many scratches even in deadstock condition.
The cutlery is a set of a spoon and a fork, and is a deadstock item with the ARMEE (Army) marking.
