Robert Kasimir Etching Print of The Vienna ST. Stephens Cathedral Pencil Signed
Biography: Son of the famous Tanna and Luigi Kasimir, Robert was born in 1914 Vienna, Austria. He studied under Hans Frank at the Academy of Graphic Art. Later, he moved to the United States in 1936 to enroll at the Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. During his two years of study, he produced etchings of the different sites he traveled to across America. He became greatly-known for his unique take on the multiple plate color etching process invented from his parents.
Description: This is a beautiful etching of The Vienna ST. Stephens Cathedral, Pencil signed. The print is framed with a glass cover.
This print measures approximately: 9 1/2" x 7 3/4”
The framed dimensions are approximately: 16 1/2" x 14 1/2"
The matting used in the framing shows some signs of wear, but the print itself is in excellent condition! Please see photos.
