Thick wool at the neck, with button closure for enhanced neck warmth, 2-way type.
The sturdy wool around the neck is not constricting, making it a very comfortable coat.
Relatively lightweight, so it won't be tiring to wear for long periods, which is a great point.
It looks great to show off the lining by wearing it open without buttoning the front.
