ConnecTite fittings are for drain, waste and vent (DWV) purposes only. They are used in gravity-fed waste elimination systems and are for Non-Pressure systems where temperatures will not exceed 140 degree F. ConnecTite fittings are used to make quick, easy and reliable connections. Unlike solvent cement fittings, they do not utilize solvent cement or primer, thereby eliminating the mess from purple primer and the hazardous waste disposal of out-of-date cans of cement. In addition, ConnecTite fittings can be repositioned, minimize down time and are compatible with both ABS and PVC.

Can be Repositioned

• With a ConnecTite fitting you can simply twist the fitting into proper alignment.
• This is helpful when you are using a fitting with a bend (90 degree Elbow, 45 degree Elbow or Sanitary Tee).
• If you have a misaligned fitting with solvent cement, the only option you have is to cut out the joint and start completely over.

Reversible and Reusable

• If pipe is cut too short or too long, you can remove the pipe from the ConnecTite fitting, cut your pipe to the correct length and then reuse the same ConnecTite fitting up to three times.
• Again, with solvent cement your only option is to cut out the joint and start completely over.

Compatible with Both PVC and ABS

• ConnecTite fittings can be used as a transition fitting as it works with Schedule 40 OD plastic pipe.

Does Not Require Any Tools

• Unlike push fit pressure fittings, ConnecTite fittings do not require a tool for reversal.
