Bronze Dachshund Weiner Dog Sculpture Sitting Hind Leg Stance Heavy Patina

Dachshund Dog Bronze sculpture made in the style of German artist Baron Ernst Von Hayn. Born in Stuttgart, Germany (1822 - 1896), he enjoyed the study of jurisprudence and painted many landscapes with animals in the realism art style. This item is not signed nor promised to be made by the aforementioned artist.

The beloved dachshund has a collar, which is a nice touch to his personality, along with the famous dachshund dog upright stance he was sculpted in. This is a very nice sculpture in very good condition. If you love Dachshunds, you will love owning this rare and hard-to-find piece. He stands approximately 7" high on a 6"x3" bronze attached plinth. This sculpture was made using the lost wax method.

The statue has gold-colored edges with heavy patina throughout. It has some discoloration in the creases and cracks, as seen in the photos. The tail has a unique imprint/abnormality, giving it character. The underneath part of its platform has a hole with what appears to be metal clip
