The Black Box KVS4-8001VX is a hardware based peripheral defender that secures the connection between a computer and its DisplayPort monitor, keyboard, mouse, and common access card reader. By sitting between these endpoints, it stops data leakage and blocks intrusion attempts that target peripheral channels.

Security is confirmed by NIAP Protection Profile 4.0 certification. Every signal travels through its own electrically isolated path, and firmware sits in nonreprogrammable ROM that cannot be altered. Tamperproof seals and a long life internal anti tamper battery provide clear evidence if anyone tries to open or manipulate the enclosure.
