Its eighteen outlets are arranged with twelve C19 receptacles for blade servers, storage arrays, or high-draw network switches, and six C13 receptacles for devices such as access switches or KVM modules. This mix suits racks that host hardware with different power needs.

An integrated meter presents current readings on a digital display that is easy to read. User-defined alarms can send a local or remote warning before loads approach capacity, which helps prevent unwanted shutdowns during peak demand. A built-in network interface lets you manage the unit through a web browser, SNMP, or Telnet, so you can check status and adjust settings without standing in front of the cabinet.

The front USB port simplifies firmware updates, and a dedicated connector accepts an optional temperature and humidity probe for environmental monitoring.

Installation is straightforward. The unit mounts vertically and occupies zero U of rack space, and it ships with mounting brackets and a six-foot power cord for flexible positioning.
