Rare. Many pewter and silver plated teapots and such are out there for sale, yet this one I can not find. I bought it with the understanding it was pewter. It is an antique. Engraved on Bottom is Meridan B Company with the scale symbol in the middle. It has 1890 with a 5 underneath, engraved. The handles and spout are the shape of bamboo. There is etchings on front and back. One side is Geisha Girl in garden with teapot. Other side is a peacock. No damages, , no leaks. It is coming to you, in antique style, meaning I will not be cleaning or polishing this item. Measures: 8.25"x7.25"x5.5". ** I do have other pieces with this collection, keep your eyes open.
