Antique (1880-1890) German Porcelain Spill Vase

Thus porcelain spill vase (meant to hold buds rather than bouquets) is a German antique from the 1880s. The ribbed columns are bisque with shades of yellow and blue-green, topped with coral. The figures are bisque with clothing in blue-green; there are clothing areas, and shoes, colored tan. The detail on the figures is quite remarkable! There is no specific makers’ mark; the bottom shows only the number 36. There is grime on the bottom rims of the columns, and there is a tiny chip on the tip of the man’s hat (shown in last photo). 9” x 6-7/8” x 3-1/4”.
