This amazing 130-year-old ( 1890's) antique cotton handmade feathered star quilt is in good condition for being that old! A remarkable piece of American fabric art. It does have some oxidization staining and some of that has eaten through some of the cotton fabric. The front side still looks good with only light discoloration and so beautifully done. Originally the lighter brown fabric was green! It has faded because of the dye they used to the soft light taupe color It is today. The cut work is amazing and all hand cut and hand-stitched. It is pictured on top of a queen size bed. It's measurements 80"in Long by 66" in wide. A rare beautiful example of American history!
