Published in 1998. Softcover, 133 pages, 22.2 x 29.8 cm. By GAGOSIAN Gallery.
This book focuses entirely on Andy Warhol's "Camouflage Paintings." It is known as a book planned and edited by the Gagosian Gallery in New York.
The Camouflage Paintings were started in 1986, a year before Warhol's death. This was done concurrently with the production of "The Last Supper" in the same year, and they are Warhol's last works. It feels like there is a deep meaning intersecting that they were "Camouflage" and "The Last Supper."
In-depth and thorough consideration of "Camouflage Paintings" is provided, along with about 25 pages of illustrations and other materials. The latter half includes several fold-out pages, making this a unique book not only for Warhol enthusiasts but also for those interested in camouflage design.
Condition: The cover shows age-related scuffs and scratches, mainly on the edges. There is a 3cm dent on the top edge of the spine (see image), and some slight rubbing on the spine edges. The interior is clean without any writing and is generally in good condition, allowing for comfortable viewing.
