Thule TracRac base rails are aluminum rails with a corrosion- and wear-resistant anodized black outer finish.

When combined with a Thule TracRac overhead rack (sold separately), they complete the Thule TracRac SR sliding truck rack system.

The TracRac SR system is modular in design, allowing users to customize the hauling ability of their vehicles for work and recreation.

They utilize the stake pockets built into the side rails of compatible pickup trucks for installation, with no drilling necessary.

Two T-shaped tracks within the TracRac base rails allow racks and accessories to slide the length of the base rails.
